The Shantz Family welcomes you!

We are a unique family owned & operated business in that it is Mother (Peggy Shantz), Son (Corey Shantz) & Daughter (Julie Shantz) who manage Shantz Country Treasures Inc. Father (Larry Shantz) helps out part-time & Daughter (Laurie Larochelle) helps out in a pinch!

Our Grandparents - Annie & Ezra Shantz farmed only five miles from here & attended Shantz Mennonite Church on Erb Street (road #9 on our map). Horse & buggy was their only mode of transportation.

Peggy, Corey & Julie were hired in the fall of 1998 by Mr. Abraham M. Martin asking them "to run this business as if it were your own" since he also only traveled via horse & buggy - he could only be here on Saturdays for six hours. After the untimely passing of Abraham - November 25, 2001 - the Shantz’ acquired the business with the blessing of the Martin family and the rest is history.

Our personal Mennonite heritage, combined with the opportunity to work for this outstanding Mennonite family has given us a deep sense of responsibility and commitment to our customers.

Our mission statement is quite simple, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" - this is the GOLDEN RULE of this family business....... God Bless.
